Hi, I’m John Oquendo, and I’ll be your guide through this blueprint reading course. With over 40 years of experience in the mechanical construction industry — including HVAC and plumbing systems — I’ve worked in the field, in estimating, and in project management, reviewing and interpreting construction drawings on real-world projects. Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how critical blueprint reading skills are to success in construction. Whether you’re an apprentice, estimator, administrative professional, or project manager, the ability to confidently understand plans can elevate your performance and open new opportunities.
