This is a competency-based certification. Certification is awarded only after passing a performance-based final exam that mirrors real-world estimating work.
Q2. What happens if I don’t pass the final exam?

If you do not pass the final exam, you will receive structured feedback and must complete required remediation before attempting a retake. One retake is included with the course.
Q3. Is there a fee to retake the exam?

One retake is included. If a student does not pass the included retake, an additional retake may be permitted for a $49 retake fee.
Q4. Can I retake the exam multiple times until I pass?

No. Certification is competency-based. Retakes are controlled to preserve the integrity of the certification and reflect real-world professional standards.
Q5. Does passing the course guarantee I’ll pass the exam?

No. Course completion does not guarantee certification. The final exam requires accurate scope identification, material selection, and takeoff organization.
